Standard
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA roles where appropriate.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, with a visible "skip to main content" link.
- Color contrast tested against AA thresholds.
- Form fields with persistent labels and accessible error messaging.
- Live regions used to announce result changes (e.g. tool verdict).
- Responsive design that works on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Known limitations
Some third-party content (e.g. linked PDFs of state statutes on government sites) may not meet our standards. We are working to identify and address remaining issues across the Service.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email hello@rentclarified.com with the page URL and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Assessment
We perform internal accessibility reviews using a combination of automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard / screen-reader testing.
