All content on the Service — including text, graphics, the "Clarity Score" methodology, logos, and trademarks — is owned by Rent Clarified or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Government statutes we quote are public domain.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENT CLARIFIED AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rent Clarified from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
10. DMCA / copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@rentclarified.com identifying the work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
